Visual Story Telling of Wildlife Tours in Tasmania…..
National Experience Content Initiative…..
Pepper Bush Adventures has taken part in a 2022 content creation program introduced and funded by Tourism Australia. State and Regional Tourism Operators provided additional support to this visual story telling program. With a late expression of interest submitted, it was a genuine surprise to receive notification that the Pepper Bush application was successful.
The National Experience Content Initiative funded a $12 million content creation program to support tourism businesses across Australia. It assisted operators in their Covid recovery and drive visitation by helping to market products.
The criteria were to be a tourism tour/activity/experience operator with an active Australia Tourism Data Warehouse listing. In addition, an active website coupled with social media platforms, helped Pepper Bush fit the criteria.
The NECI program provided a suite of new imagery and video for up to 1,500 tourism experiences from around Australia. Pepper Bush Adventures is one of 138 Tasmanian tourism operators across the state selected to take part. A wide variety of operators represented the uniqueness and experiences each region offers.
As we know, a picture tells a thousand words and can attract more bookings. Therefore, this media program provided the participating tourism businesses with a suite of new images and videos for promotional use, and all at no cost to the operator.
The media production company assigned to work with Pepper Bush Adventures was Ideas BanQ. Filming took place in forest areas of northeast Tasmanian and into the Quoll Patrol venue for some wildlife interaction and a campfire dinner. Local colleagues, Guy, and Madeline Jetson along with family members, Greg and Sally participated as our star talent and had a great time. On completion of editing, Ideas BanQ supplied a 60-minute video, 40 edited images, a host of other images and 10 minutes of B-roll footage.
The footage and images are published in the Tourism Australia and Tourism Tasmania image and video galleries. These galleries are accessible by the public, media, and trade, free of charge. Pepper Bush will be adding the videos and images to the website and social media platforms.
