A Tasmanian day tour commencing with a visit to the Trowunna Wildlife Park for a captivating encounter with Tasmanian devils, wombats and forester kangaroos. Journey to the beautiful Relbia region for some quality wining and dining on the Tamar Valley Wine Route
Departing Launceston and travel to the Meander Valley to visit the Trowunna Wildlife Park for a private tour. Meet the remarkable furry and feathered inhabitants that feature at the park. You will have the opportunity to interact with the forester kangaroos, cuddle a wombat and meet the Tasmanian devils. Trowunna Wildlife Park was the pioneer in Tasmanian devil breeding and rehabilitation. On leaving Trowunna we travel to the beautiful Relbia wine region on the Tamar Valley Wine Route

Velo Vineyard – After lunch we take a 30 minute drive to Velo Vineyard at Legana to finish the day. You will enjoy the wine, the knowledge and the relaxed character of the cellar door personnel. The vineyard has particular significance with the first vines planted in 1966 by Tasmanian wine industry icon Graham Wiltshire with plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, making the Cabernet vines some of the oldest in Tasmania, a fact not lost on people with wine knowledge who understand the importance and influence of vine age on grape quality.
